What is this?
The NIISS website provides several tools to guide researchers and land managers in the collection of field data. These tools include free, downloadable PDA (Palm) programs and accompanying Microsoft Access databases. These tools simplify field data collection and upload of those data into the NIISS database. We also provide information on different field survey techniques whose data formats are supported in the NIISS database.
