Download data from our website help
The National Institute of Invasive Species Science currently allows you to download organism locations as a textfile or shapefile via the map. On the map page, add a layer for an organism you want data for and click the download button (see below) that can be used to draw an 'Area of Interest' on our map.
We also have other download options available that allow you to filter (query) data into a spreadsheet and then subsequently download tab delimited text files, comma separate value (csv) files, and / or ESRI shapefiles that you create from your spreadsheets.
